If you would like to see the New Jersey FORUM split into two or more sections, speak out on this thread in "About the Forum."
South Jersey forum?
It is seriously being considered. That's the place to be heard.

So, it's 60% in favor. WHEN WILL THE CHANGES BE IMPLEMENTED ON THE BOARD?

A split on this forum? Possibly, depending on how it would function.

A split of the actual state? Absolutely not!

I never thought of south jersey as Cherry Hill...I think what we have is central, south and north Jersey.
Or what in colonial times was called west jersey...Atlantic/Cumberland/ Cape May are south to me..
Cape May County has done a nice job of saving open space and farms...I came from Gloucester County
that never said no to a developer....Look at the Deptfort mall area, PRIME farm land...all housing, mall,
people packed in like sardines...what a crime...

i wouldn't exactly call Burlington or Camden counties rural. its strip mall hell. if anything, they should be lumped in with central Jersey like Mercer or Ocean counties

I'm not sure which line to choose. We'd get to keep the Delaware Water Gap area.

Where was the West Jersey/East Jersey line?

It's fine how it is. Why do people feel the need to change and mess up something that works good. Like Law-makers, they're not happy until more and more laws are made, meantime old laws stay in effect or become worse. Why not split this board into 2479 sub forums for each villege in New Jersey? Or better yet, let each member have their own board so they can have their own archive and perhaps someone will visit it and love it.

There's a Burlington County rush hour traffic jam in Weekstown, Duke's Bridge, Buddtown? I didn't see any strip malls the last time that I was through any of those places. Thanks, I'll keep Burlington.
