Union County entertaining kids on rainy days? (Cranford: live in, renewal)

Ok I admit it: I have a very limited imagination for Arts & Crafts so when my standard dog and pony show is done and my 2 or 3 game repertory is complete...I'm stuck on rainy days. I live in Cranford (Union County) and don't wan't to make TV my salvation to entertain my 2yr old girl. Any ideas?????

Go to Michael's... a craft store... they have an entire section of pre-packaged artsy craftsy type stuff starting as low as $1 or 2 each... all the pieces are precut... will include paint and a brush, etc.

My 3 year old isn't really into that... but if I give her a scissors (child safe) and 8 1/2 x 11" of paper she'll sit there and cut that into confetti for an hour.

Bake cupcakes and decorate them. Kids love to do that, both boys and girls.
