I saw a guy get pulled over for going less then 10 MPH over the speed limit yesterday. Road is a 25, but its a main road you would expect to be a 35-40 if you are not a local.

Cop was hiding on a side road, and another motorcycle cop was hiding behind a tree at some house.

Its weak. These cops need to get a life. Its not the citizens job to make up the budge short falls.

If the cops have time for this kind of garbage, I say reduce their numbers

what a bunch of egomanical , time wasters behind those uniform. it sickens me.

there was a time when the cops were lenient if we went 10 miles over the posted limit. Not anymore because of the economy some say.
Maybe you should get one of the red stickers that the young drivers will be getting soon so we can be sure to get of the road if we see you...

I don't think "limit" means what some of you think it means.

This is truly a funny post. I have been attending performance driving schools for more than 10 years and believe it or else the cars most likely to encounter the safety Armco are Porsche and BMW. The drivers of these cars believe all the hype about being the ultimate "Driving Machines" What they don't understand is that they also need a driver with a good head on his shoulders. Driving 44 in a 25 is not using your head. You deserve the fine.

44 mph in 25 mph was speeding i would understand if he pulled you over if you was doing 30 on a 25 mph street. I remember having a cop follow me home and pulled me over in front of my house for supposedly speeding. He sat there and jerked around with me for a half hour saying i was trying to out run him stuff like that and he could of arrest me stupid stuff like that.

And the second time a cop pulled me over because he said i ran a red light which was a yellow light. He asked me what happened i said nothing he said you ran that red light i said no it was a yellow light. He yelled at me i yelled here i had my license and registration and insurance card in my hand. I just wish the cops would just pull people over and give them a ticket instead of tormenting people. What goes around comes around its funny now that town is laying off cops.

44 in a 25; well if that doesn't warrant a ticket, what does, 50, 60, 70,.....

Wreckless driving kills, and all I can say is I'm glad the officers are out there doing their job.

I have been on many first aid calls, and am glad I had officers responding with us; they are the best!

A) If it was in a shopping center it may be on private property, therefore no cop can write a ticket there.

B) Cops have no business terrorizing people minding their own business.

C) There is no justice in Amerika.

You are really assuming a lot, IMO. Many times they are under pressure from those very citizens you feel are victimized. There are lots of people pulled over on MacArthur Blvd in Somer's Point (the road you're on when you get off exit 30 to go to OC) but it's because the residents who lives there are on top of them making sure they do.

Maybe mommy and daddy will talk to the judge and get their little baby boy off the hook. After all, the laws are written for everyone else, not you.
