I was wondering if someone could recommend the best way to commute from and to the locations above. We're having a heck of a time trying to find something reasonable that works.

Are there any viable choices for going straight to the Wall St area from where we live?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

NJT Bus to PABT then the A,C,2,3 downtown.
I believe the 2,3 exit right into the lobby of Chase-Manhattan Plaza. Beautiful building BTW, enjoy being part of the priveledged few to ride those nice elevators in there.
Yeah elevators is my other hobby.

I am afraid not, I have been trying to figure a way to do it myself for years so i can apply for jobs downtown.
No of options and each of them will not be less than 2 hours. You will be lucky if you do it in 1.5 hours each way but i doubt it.
Some of the options:
1) Take the bus on Wanaque to Port Authority. Then the subway.
2) Take the train from Fairlawn to Rutherford Terminal and then to Hoboken. Path to Wall Trade center.
3) Take the train from Wayne Park and Ride to Montclair. Change to Hoboken and then the path.
4) Drive to Willowbrook, Bus to PA, Path to WTC.
5) Drive to Hoboken.

It is also very expensive so unless you are ready to sacrifice time and money for family, its not worth. I worked for a few months and then just got tired of the commute.
That is one of the drawbacks living in Pompton Lakes
