To explain a bit... my Mom is in Assisted Living there, so that's why I'm looking to stay elsewhere....

Why not a Hotel or Hostel?

I live in Manalapan and work in Englishtown (pretty much the same place), so I know a lot about the area. Honestly you probably won't find a lot of people who want to rent rooms around here, especially for just a week. I believe there is a Holiday Inn which wouldn't be more than 10 minutes away from any assisted living in Englishtown, so I'd try there first.

There is a Holiday Inn in Monroe, which is the next town over, think now it's called the Crown? But it's right off the Turnpike at exit 8A on Rt. 32.

There's no way you can rent a room for one week anywhere close to Manalapan, check out the Days Inn on Route 9 on the Manalapan/Freehold border.

Days Inn, that is the one I was thinking, it is like 3 minutes from the mall? I think there is a hotel in Monroe too, but be careful since there are parts of monroe that are a good 40 minutes from parts of Manalapan.
