We are looking at houses in Ridgewood NJ (including a few in "orchard" elementary zone). We saw online some references to issues of possibly toxic chemicals in the playground at the Orchard elementary school. Was this really an issue, and if so, has it been resolved (it seems like it was a couple years ago)? Thanks.

My children go to school in the orchard district.... when the made an addition to the school a few years back there was still some residue from a coal plant that was previously located there... the playground was relocated due to the new construction and they needed to remediate the soil - it has been tested and supposedly safe now.
