A lot of money just being the original house where it happen, but never in the first three movies of the Amityville Horror.

It was filmed with a copy of that NY house all in Toms River /Point Pleasent NJ, for the first three movies.

That is really not too bad for that house. It is a pretty nice house. I would bet if it had no history, the house would sell for around $750,000 or so.

Don't get me wrong. It's an interesting little personal interest story, and I saw the original "Amityville Horror" along with the sequels and remake. It's an interesting original story/event that's been twisted.

But why is this in the New Jersey section?

That actually looks like a reasonable price for that house. This is on long island with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and not far from NYC on the riverfront with its own indoor boat dock.

I don't think I could live here, even it it was free. Some crazy guy killed his whole family and swears that the house made him do it. I don't necessarily believe in ghosts and stuff, but still kinda scary.

Are you serious? What a bunch of chickens. If there was something really going on there, that house would be for sale for $50k not more than $1m.

If I had that kind of cash, I would buy the place and then charge all of the chickens and spook chasers $20 a head to come in and look around.
