Very low figures for here (Union County / Clayton).Sad thing is, out of the 2.5% unemployed, about 2.0% of them dont actually want to work. There are plent of jobs for the unemployed 2.5% to do

Those statistics are VERY interesting. We aren't finding the Network Admin jobs here that were around when we visited in April. It seems businesses are slowing down on the hiring and the 2 guys my husband is using from various recruiting firms say they've noticed a slow down on the hiring in the technology field. They "think" it will pick up in the next quarter though. He interviewed for one job and the person was going to advance him to the next level, but the hiring manager decided they should wait on hiring for that position because of money concerns and "maybe" they wouldn't need that position filled after all. Very frustrating! It seems the jobs available lean towards the programmers and scientist, but that's reasonable considering what's around here.

At this point in time I would say only four stores are not looking for people. We have four feedlots which are always looking for people. We are short on construction workers for both the highway and prison being built and the possible other stuff with that, paving 5 miles of road for the prison, possible other buildings going up which I cannot speak of.

Those jobs don't sound like anything I'd be interested in, but thanks for the response!

Real good and on track harry o. Its only a 600 (heard rumor they were making it 900 but theyd have to go back to the Gov for that) and is due to be finished in March / April and open in May. Its pretty exciting to see the development etc. Ive got timeline pics somewhere I need to put up.

Were going to do job shows in various cities around the state and surrounding states.
