Thanks, Oliver Lee is by Alamogordo. That was the only day it snowed all winter & it only accumulated at higher elevations. Being from the midwest I missed the snow & had to go for a hike.
I'm having some trouble with the links, but, hopefully, you can get these -- or just past the url into your browser. Here is the slide show of the New Mexico (and a little Colorado) portion of the trip:
I'm not sure if anyone ever acknowledged your photos, you posted them quite some time ago but I wanted to say they were outstanding. Great collection of scenery.
Here are some pictures I took yesterday at the first annual "Duke of the Dutch Oven" Chuck Wagon Cook-Off in Clovis, NM. To see the rest of the photos, click here. It was a great celebration of food and tradition and history and people.

Good old Dutch oven cooking over a campfire.....gotta love it!! Thanks for sharing!
We wanted to show our visiting friends from New Hampshire a bit of Clovis, so we headed right on down to Joe's Boot Shop. We were lucky enough to meet up with these kids on their way to the prom, and lucky again that our friend Jon shared the resulting photo with us. Be sure to click on it to see the details.
