Harry, you put me over 100 and I got another little green thingy. I don't know what it means, but thank you!

I love Lincoln and hope to go back when my husband isn't in the middle of driving a 580-mile round trip for a green chile cheeseburger from the Owl Cafe. You can actually Google "580 mile hamburger" and see what he wrote about it.

Maybe next time we can actually get out of the car when we get to Lincoln.

COOL! Wow, quick reply appreciated. I'm in TrC, travelled through most of NM, but NOT there.
I may have a nice day trip in the future, after seeing the pics!

Holy cow, desert sun, I can't thank you enough for posting these photos!!! I do love them indeed; this is the classic Las Cruces / El Paso that I really like so much.

You are my personal pick for "NM photographer of the year" as I love all of your palm tree shots in Southern NM!!!

Awesome photos. I am going to print these off in color and add them to my pile of "photos that inspire us to get back into NM".

Cruces is really becoming an awesome town. I am more and more thinking that Cruces should be right up there for me along with ABQ and EP as relo destination possibilities; when I was in ABQ, I really only considered ABQ or EP as I always considered LC too small for my tastes, but really, it is growing like gangbusters and it is so close relatively to EP. I always loved making the trek down I-25 from ABQ to EP / I-10 and just outside of Cruces is when you start to spot the palms commonly all over the place.

Hey desert sun, if you have a chance to catch any photos of the palms around Albuquerque and wouldn't mind posting them, that would be awesome too!! Surely, they are much more rare and hard to find than these beauties all over Cruces!!
