This is what we're all about at our little adobe house here in southern New Mexico. I stuck a couple of Big Jim chile plants in large pots out on the patio and we've been deluged with red chiles for the last couple of months. My one little seed packet of morning glories has been a great success, too, although the cotton farmers won't thank me if my seeds blow their way.
It seems like we planned for so long about getting to New Mexico, and now we're here, soaking up the sunshine and the culture. It's a lovely, slow-paced life. If you are dreaming about coming to New Mexico, don't give up. There's still lots of room and lots of chiles.
Tent Rocks is a unique group of rock formations located in the foothills of the Jemez Mountains, north-central New Mexico, U.S., between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, about 40 miles southwest of the latter.
These are awesome!!
I'm aiming at Rio Rancho by next May (God willing).
I want me a red chevy pick up and an isolated cabin
on one of those mountains!
By the way: I'm sure half of the readers chose at least
one of the images as their desktop wallpaper.
