Hello all,

My family and I are seriously thinking about relocating to SC in the upcoming future. We love the area and would like to make it "home".

My question is this,
How many barbershops are in that area, I'm a barber and plan on opening a shop there if we do in fact decide to make the move.

I'm thinking of an old fashion type shop not the "hip-hop" type shop, what do you all think, any info would be great.

I know of four and they are of the type you mentioned. There may be more in the surrounding area.

I remembered 1 more . That brings the total to 5. The barber I go to is about 80 years old ! You need to visit and check it out.

40FORDJIM,

The older barber you mentioned that you go to is what I'm looking for. Would you be able to pm me and give me the name of his shop and phone number if he has one?

We plan on talking a drive over to the are in the next few weeks and I would like to check him out btw, what does he charge for a cut and is he busy?

We currently live in AZ and quite frankly I'm tired of this State and the "hotbox" area we live in.

Thanks for the info.

Buying an existing business may be the best way of getting started in a new area. Definitely visit the area. Silver is a really neat place.

Until I read that you were a barber I thought you were looking for one. I was going to suggest you buy a set of shears and a comb and have the family learn to cut each other's hair. My wife has been trimming mine for almost 30 years.
