Its where many of the towns folks, young and old, lip sinc in costume to the song. Lots of good ones. The donation at the door, goes to kid things in Timberon and the restoration of the old fire truck.
BTW, in the last few days we have had 3" of rain up there.

I remember lipsyncing and going to places that did back in the 80's. I wasn't sure if it was the same thing or not. Sounds fun.

My house here went under contract the 25th, so keep your fingers crossed that all goes well. The movers are coming to load me on the 7th....I will have at least 2 more--if not 3--trips, on getting the dogs there...and I'm going up Aug 1 or 2 with a load of breakables and fragile stuff!!!
I cannot imagine it taking very long to sell your home, but I guess it all depends on the market. Ours here is very tight, which is why I went ahead and planned my move when I did.
I'm really, really looking forward to all of this, and time is really, really, REALLY dragging right now, LOL!!!
Which lodge are you talking about? There is one in Timberon? I can't wait to see Timberon, High Rolls...and to revist CC and Ruidoso. I haven't seen CC for 40+ years.....and I haven't been to Ruidoso since 1986.
On the deer? No, I would NOT feed them. They're pretty to watch, sometimes, but they can be annoying pests who eat everything that isn't nailed down or unattractive to them!!!! LOL!!

Hi Cathy,
What kind of dogs do you have? Inside or outside?
Ours are outside dogs in a large fenced yard. No fence in Timberon but it seems the people in that area let there dogs run loose and free. I have large dogs, a lab and aussie and am still wondering about them moving to NM. I have never moved with a dog and just wanted to know how your dogs are adjusting to the new climate, home, etc. People tell me it's a piece of cake to move with pets. They also have small low energy dogs. My dogs are high energy.

She had said in a previous email she was going up August 1 or 2 to take some things up and also make a couple of trips to bring her dogs. She may be back in texas now though.
We should be up in about 3 weeks.

We closed on our place in Timberon the day after Laborday. My wife and her Mother ( who lives there) went. They had a large time! 7 more years to retirement, and Timberon full time.

Yes, We do!!! My in-laws live there, And we've been going up to visit since about 1991. We look at a lot of places and lots thur the years, and finally decided if we wait much longer we where not going to be able to afford it. Seems word is getting out about Timberon, the new road, and now paving the runway. Wish we where there now, but just a few more weeks!!!
