If you need a furnished house in Roswell, the one professional company with over 40 houses is called "Cozy Cowboy Cottage Rentals." They're very clean, all their houses are in nice residential neighborhoods, they're flexible with move-out, take credit cards and have a full-time staff on hand for repairs, etc. They also have extra furniture to "customize" a house or a kid's room. They have a webpage at cozycowboy.com

Default Temporary furnished housing FLETC home

My husband and I are relocating from Tucson, AZ to Roswell on the 25th of this month. We need temporary housing for 3-6 months and will be on government per diem. I'm having a really tough time trying to find a home on the NW side. Any ideas?

Default Renting in Roswell

If you are looking to rent a house in Roswell, I must unfourtunatly say "good luck". The rental availability is very low here and the homes that are available to rent are usually not in very good neighboorhoods. If you want safety, you will have to pay for it. We were lucky and locked in our rate of our three bedroom home in enchanted hills (nice neighboorhood) for $825/month, but if we moved out the price would most likely double (according to the current homes for rent by our same managing company). The housing bubble has not yet burst here in Roswell and buying a home can be very costly, again if you want something nice. You want to stay north of 2nd street for sure and try to stay west of main (unless you are way north town and then both east and west are pretty good). We came to Roswell for a few days and just drove around town looking for "for rent" signs. When we finally called a realtor to show us a rental property, it was awful on the inside, but he knew of other properties and showed us more. I suggest calling Roswell Prudential to see if they can set you up with some properties to look at. Roswell has some very scary parts of town, mostly in the southeast side, I don't drive that way after dark. But the north side is growing and there are some new places being built.
