Thanks for the warning. I liked Ruidoso back in the 70s and 80s, but if the developers are running things and it's all about the bottom line, I'll have to go elsewhere.

How true catman....as i remember back in the 70's as a kid our family and relatives always went camping in the summer months and how laid back it was back then and now its like ''Hey lets be like Aspen or Vail'' which to me is sad.............

It is sad indeed. It's sorta wanted to be like Aspen or Vail for a long time, but now it's doing something about it. I'm sure I'd still like to be there, just not as much.
