They got Blake's in just about every corner of the state, except for Roswell. There's even one in god-forsaken Alamogordo. What - does Roswell hate delicious green chile cheeseburgers?

I've wondered that myself as I go through there every year, sometimes twice a year. I LOVE Blakes!

Or two locations in Espanola (?) or one in Bayard....
None in Roswell.

Alamogordo actually has pretty strong competition from Hi-De-Ho, which remains in my mind on the gold standard of New Mexico GCCB.

If you want to know why Blakes doesn't have a location in Roswell, then call their corporate office and ask. Maybe they just need to be told that there is demand for their burgers in Roswell.

Roswell has a burger place called Walley Burger which tastes almost identical.

Might be part of why.

Aside from 4 sonics, mcdonalds, Wendy's, whataburger, Dairy Queen, and all the other restaurants, there's plenty of burger choices.

Why does Roswell not have an Olive Garden as well as a Blakes? Roswell is pretty low on the totem pole for any kind of restaurant selection.

Pasta Cafe and Portofino's fill that need to most people's satisfaction.

Very few communities in NM can match Roswell's choices, even for mass market casual dining. Chili's, Applebee's, Red Lobster, Rib Crib... there's just no pleasing some people.

Young space alien: "Can we eat at Lotaburger Mom?"
Mother space alien: "There isn't one around here. Now stop playing with your food, and eat that human already!"
