Looks like we're going to be in Capitan in a couple of months. We put an offer on the house we liked and they accepted it last night.

We will still continue to do some Timberon activities. Charlie will still be involved with the water board meetings once a month.
We do miss the atv runs though.

when does the golf course officially open?

The golf course is open year round. In the winter months, they are on the honor system as the pro shop isn't open.
I don't know when they will open this year but it's usually Memorial weekend. It's not in the best of shape as some of the other courses around but you can at least enjoy the view.

Josephus, are you a golfer? If so, next time you're in the area, maybe you and Charlie can get together and play.

Be sure to let us know as much as you can about life in Capitan. It's one of the places I am considering moving to eventually.
