Although West Mesa is very weak thats still an impressive score CibolaCoog....

Tonight on NMAA network the game is Mayfield vs Alamogordo. A rematch of the last years 5A Title Game but i think Mayfield is just going to put a hurting on Alamo.

What was the score in the state championship last year beetween Mayfield and Alamo?
Cibola lost to Alamogordo in the simifinals in the last seconds of the game to a fieldgoal. That one hurt.

Mayfield won at Alamogordo quite handily, 31-7.

Yeah...that was an exciting game as Alamo won 24 to 21 . We also don't have our Head Football coach from last year as he went to Carlsbad to be the Athletic Director there.....

Default Question for 6 foot 3

Do you think Cibola will play Clovis again in the playoffs I dont quite understand the playoff system and just wanted to get your prediction.

They are seeded 1 thru 12 with the top 4 getting a bye. Letss assume Las Cruces beats Mayfield last game of season and Cibola beats Rio Rancho last game also then that would probably give Cibola a 2 seed. Since Mayfield beat Clovis i assume Mayfield would get a 3 and Clovis a 4. So IF that happens as we are only guessing how the committee will seed that means that you (Cibola) could only play Clovis in the Title Game.

Top Bracket
8 vs 9 winner plays 1 seed
5 vs 12 winner plays 4 seed

Bottom Bracket
6 vs 11 winner plays 3 seed
7 vs 10 winner plays 2 seed

Sidenote: Artesia 82 Taos 0 What a score.
