Default NICEST apts for rent near Cannon AFB

Could anyone please recommend the NICEST apts that you know of near Cannon AFB?

Only would need a studio or 1 bdrm, but would go a 2 bdrm if needed.

Would like a place that had washer/dryer hookup if possible.

Thanks!

I dont know of any nice apts in Clovis,I was thinking of moving there a couple years back and went apt. hunting, all I saw were old apts. since Clovis hasnt really grown in a couple decades. But the best choice I ever made was NOT moving to Clovis for many reasons. You will be very bored there.

I guess Desert Sun hasn't been to Clovis in a long time. There are new apts. everywhere, along with a lot of new businesses. Any town you live in will be what you make of it. You can chose to be happy and make things better for yourself or sit on your duff and whine. A town should not be required to make your life what it is. If you are miserable you would be miserable in paradise. There is a lot of places I would rather not live, but it is not that towns fault. It is just my likes or disllikes. Some poeple really love Clovis, some don't.

I was just in Clovis 10 months ago and I really didnt see that much of a difference in the town.I left in 2003 and have been back to Clovis a couple times ,since then they put up a few businesses, but not much really,I guess I got used to the way Farmington is growing, they just have so much more than Clovis.Im in Rio Rancho now,I used to love the Portales-Clovis area but not as much now as I have lived in different towns in N.M.Now I love the desert and the mountains and the much more available conviences. But I do miss the lush green grass and the countryside in Portales, but I dont miss anything in Clovis.

Default People willing to rent...

But not enough nice space to rent.

Fortunately, you can really build year-round here in good weather. If you pay the price. Local real estate agents to bar stool trollops know the $value$ of AirForce stripes.

Possibly someone screwed up in Clovis City Planning ...people from elsewhere in the country of the AirForce need a little affordable gentrified comfort and not seeing it.

Once the "Mission" was sealed was there anything in place to set up for housing for these folks? Ooops. According to these posts recently there's a gap of good housing.

If I owned rental properties in Clovis, now would be the time to re-hab them.
To appeal to those coming in.The renters are-a-plenty.

Desert Sun...next time you are in town ride down Llano Estacado heading west just after passing Prince and you might be surprised. Need more surprises but I think you can say there are new and decent apartments in town now.

Fox Trails in Portales is the nicest in the area for the price - Call Combs Properties - It is about 18 minutes to the South Gate and walking distance to Goober's bar and Cattle Baron, Russel's supermarket and ENMU. There are opportunities to safely jog or ride a road bike right there on 18th and on the big shoulder of HWY 206. Plus you can be at the Zia horse track and casino in Hobbs in just 90 minutes from Fox Trails .
