Got a few flurries this morning in the High Rolls/Mountain Park area. National says it's supposed to snow until at least Saturday. BUT the total accumulation is only supposed to be around 4 inches or so

There should be a lot more snow heading your way. We are getting slammed with rain in Tempe now. At least I think Sierra Blanca should get snow.

Although it is snowing some as I type this at 7am on Wed, it hasn't dropped a single flake since yesterday morning in spite of a 70% probability in the forecast for the past 24 hours. In contrast to Santa Fe which had more snow than had been forecast.

Overnight temps hovered around 40F and have fallen slightly just before dawn, but still above freezing. And wind speeds have been recorded in 50mph gusts.

Travel through ABQ and Rio Rancho for the last hour (6 to 7 AM) have been event free. Report was "the roads were mostly dry and I only had snow 1/4 way thru corralles."

Default Jan. 22 snow reports?

Bumping this back up to see how everyone is faring today - Friday the 22nd.

My day began with the overnight temps having hovered around 43F and it was raining and wind blowing when I arose at 5am. Then the temp started down and it eventually hit the freezing mark in town with rain turning to heavy wet snowflakes. Wind died down just as the snow began at 10am. But that didn't happen before about 0.6" of rain accumulated in my rain gauge!

After two one-inch snowfalls during the past few days and winds gusting over 50mph, today is finally holding to the forecast. The ski area should be getting a good dump since their temps were at or below freezing last night.

Not much accumulation here for the 24 hour period ending at 5am this morning (Saturday) and temps hovered at 28 degrees all night long. But since 5am there has been periods of heavy snowfall with about six inches so far and still snowing lightly as I type this at 9am.
