I wanted to add something else about my road trip and that was a new powerful Rock Staion out of Ruidoso 101.5 which plays great Rock Music from the 70's/80's/90's so that along with 103.7 (The Stealth) in Alamo with its Classic Rock makes it more enjoyable when crusing around in my vehicle.
I caught it at Socorro and it came in perfect all the way to Alamogordo so that was nice.....

What about the housing market? Did you notice if there were "For Sale" signs all over?

There are usually a lot of homes for sale in and around Alamo because of the base. Its not hard to find something in your price range.
Cathy any luck on your dog yet??? Good luck.

Just wondering what effect the housing crunch was having in Alamogordo. I already own property that I bought several years ago for future use. Hope to be joining you in about 3 years.

The Housing in Alamo....
Looked liked it has slowed down as there wasn't the BOOM that i seen before. However my thought is not so much do to the Housing Crunch thats going on nationwide but instead do to Holloman AFB downsized right now and won't pick back up until next year when the F-22 Raptors and their fighter wing comes in.

New home construction is actually up in Alamo by 20% over last year. 52 houses under construction.

Harry,
Wish it was the end of next week you were coming down. We'll be up in Timberon for a week Nov. 1. We could have met for lunch.
Going to try and meet with Cathy for lunch. Wish Jane was there too when we come up.
Glad you enjoyed your trip and thanks for listing the radio stations.

Cathy,
Did you find your dog yet? I am sending you a DM for phone numbers to get together for lunch.
