Default Gov Conference on Tourism

Just got back in and some pretty exciting things coming up hopefully. We all need to the legislature to give an extra $5m to the Tourism Dept for advertising.

The NM Tourism Dept's budget is a joke vs all of the bordering states IMO.

Congrats to Roswell and ill see yous in April

One of the things I like about NM is that it's not absolutely buried in hordes of tourists (although Taos, Ruidoso, and Santa Fe can be on occasion). I can understand why you guys in tourism would like for it to be ($$$)!

Who do you think creates the money in the first place ? Tourists! You put more into promoting the state, we get more visitors = more $$$$$ and the Tourism Dept has the stats to prove it.
