Default Taxes?

Just kind of curious, I've heard that there is a state income tax in NM. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for more info, or have any info they can share, re rates, etc.

Also wondering about smog tests for autos?

I think it is only on higher income folk. I lived there 4 years and don't remember paying taxes a single time, tho I had to file.

Yes, smog test for bernalillo county every 2 years.

We moved here from Minneapolis where the payroll taxes were pretty high, here in NM there almost non-existent, wicked cheap as is property tax well in San Juan county anyway 500,000 dollar home taxes $1,400 ridiculouly cheap! 200k home $400 Wow.
