Not everyone is as materialistic as you are cali -girl. That is one reason why i moved from san diego to ABQ. I absolutely love it hear and it is some of the most beautiful scenery I have seen. I honestly don't need those "high end stores" to make me happy. I really feel sorry for you if that is all you are looking at.....

Hello there, I am from New Mexico, lived in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, loved it, no problems at all. I lived in California for a while, there is crime there but I loved it there too. I think in any city no matter what state there is crime. I am now living in a small town in Az. but I am ready to go home, to my beloved New Mexico, it is truly magical there, that is what I feel.
I was there just in May and it was hard to leave. Follow your heart and do not go by what other's may experience. If there is a calling there for you, follow it, there is a reason for everything or anything that come's into your life....everyone's experience is different, again follow your heart. But, New Mexico is my home, it is a place that I love and always will, my time there was beautiful and fulfilling and I am ready to go back home.... lakota.woman |
