overnight stay
 Hi from Scotland. My daughter is coming to stay for 8 weeks at the wolf sanctuary not far from Albuquerque . At the end of her trip she will have to spend the night in Albuquerque and is looking forward to it. Can anyone advise me of a reasonably priced hotel in a safe area near the airport? She is travelling alone and is only 19 years old  |

I have stayed in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Albuquerque which is pretty nice, you are looking at $130per night + though. I prefer to stay at the MCM Elegante though and I think you are looking at about $79+ per night there. They do have a La Quinta Inn at the Aiport too, about 1 mile away, though I have never stayed there I have stayed at other ones around the state and they have been real nice, they usuallly start at $69 per nite.

We stayed at the old Hilton, now El Paseo del Albuquerque (sp/). it is a very nice place in the middle of downtown about a $15 taxi ride to the airport. I have forgotten what it cost. Spectacular old west lobby. Nice quiet rooms.
