Question overnight stay

Hi from Scotland. My daughter is coming to stay for 8 weeks at the wolf sanctuary not far from Albuquerque . At the end of her trip she will have to spend the night in Albuquerque and is looking forward to it. Can anyone advise me of a reasonably priced hotel in a safe area near the airport? She is travelling alone and is only 19 years old

I have stayed in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Albuquerque which is pretty nice, you are looking at $130per night + though. I prefer to stay at the MCM Elegante though and I think you are looking at about $79+ per night there. They do have a La Quinta Inn at the Aiport too, about 1 mile away, though I have never stayed there I have stayed at other ones around the state and they have been real nice, they usuallly start at $69 per nite.

We stayed at the old Hilton, now El Paseo del Albuquerque (sp/). it is a very nice place in the middle of downtown about a $15 taxi ride to the airport. I have forgotten what it cost. Spectacular old west lobby. Nice quiet rooms.

Thumbs up La Quinta Is Nice

I stayed at the one by the Airport. Around $60 a night. There is a shuttle there to take you to the airport it's right next to it, or Casino, nice continental breakfast, you can make your own waffles mmmmmmm...I want to buy one of those machines!
