Got her as a rescue dog when she was just about 2.5 months old. The lady if i want to call her that just did not know to take care of anything. When we took her, Sonja was real skinny and had no idea what dog food was. Trailed her for 3 weeks until the poopers stopped.
Now she is very healthy and just beautiful. She is a sliver brown colour, 4 white tipped paws and tail and white around her face that goes up between her green eyes. and if Santa would have been nice to me this year and gave me a camera i would have pictures on here of her.
She is now about 6 months old and is around 60 to 65 lbs. and getting bigger.
Lovehound if you noticed this thread was for dogs then why are you reading it? What's your pedigree? lol
well oppinionated, our dog doesn't know how to read or spell either, which is probably good, but he does know key words, like abbie and emma (his girlfriends) and knows the word girlfriend too, along with ice cream, kibbles n bits, chewie, go for a ride, mighty dog, but alot of dogs seem to pick up these words, probably because we humans like to tease our dogs a bit with key words. ours does watch animal planet, he especially like the puppy bowl
My dog knows quite a few human phrases. I'm sure he doesn't understand the specific words, but if I say, "Wanna go for a ride?" he goes for the kitchen door (to the driveway), if I say, "Want food?" he goes to the kitchen, and if I say, "Get the kitty cat?" he runs to the back door (to the back yard where the kitty cats are.)
He knows what I mean even if he doesn't understand the words. That's why I like dogs!
Yes, back to the olive oil, when we lived in CA the owner of the ranch planted acres (hundreds of acres) of Olive trees. It was really interesting learning how to grow, train (just like a grape vine) and harvest the olives. I learned alot about olive oil, taste testing is fun, just like wine. There are lots of olive orchards there and you can go to the orchards and sample, just like going to a wine place. You sip it between your teeth and let the air mix with it to taste the flavor..get the pepper taste, etc....it has a gazillion uses, including great for the skin....

Hopeful, sounds interesting.
How do you pick a good olive oil? It all seems to taste the same to me.
Maybe you should start a separate thread on this. I didn't know they had taste test on this.
oh Gawd, let's all meet at songinthewinds' place and have a olive oil party, let's not invite popeye though
