I always thought Lawrence Welk was a pill popper. How else could you explaing the bland music and goofy grin.
I love the "trailor park slum full of old white people and crystal meth addicts" description. Sounds like I would fit right in.

I guess that explains this quote on the other TorC thread.
"trailor park slum full of old white people and crystal meth addicts."

Glad to hear you are keeping the applicance population under control!! (lol) Those critters can multiply like rabbits
Cheer up 4now, I think Laurence Welk should be coming up on cable sometime within the next hour.
Seriously, I hope it works out for you longer term, if not I guess you could always move back to ABQ.

A bad day.....is when you've climbed rimrock mountain in your jeep, the tires slipped on the loose gravel, and you've then slid and rolled the jeep into penasco canyon.
trailer park slum/scum... count me in. it's not bad living as trailer trash for awhile....at least it's eminant domain and paid for. l.w., he's on pbs saturday evenings, bring on the bubble machine.
someone expecting T or C to be more than it is? what do you want for a town of 7,000 inhabitants? an olive garden, applebees, and a omaha steak house?

Not a Senior or Senore'
Friend, you need to get out more often.
we (my spouse and I) do all of the time.
we know about restaurant quality here in T or C, we've lived here for 3 years.
now here's a pizza! pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms.

Hot Springs
I would think that the people who want to promote T.or C. or Hotsprings as it was called years ago would talk about what they do when they go there or talk about what business places are there. The main thing people want to know if there is a Wal Mart there anything else is Secondary. I didnt know T.or C. had a Wal Mart? I was a Pallbearer for a couple of Funerals there about 20 years ago and havent been there since but i thought the people were very friendly and the town was a nice quiet town that i thought i would like to come back and visit. el pintada kid
