Roswell housing (custom home, buy, utilities)

Hey all,

My husband and I are planning to retire in Roswell. How are the housing prices and what locations should we be looking at? We have plenty of grand kids so we will be needing a large house with plenty of room. Any help would be appreciated. We were also thinking of building a home, anyone know some builders and perhaps an architect we can contact?

Lottsa really inexpensive housing available in Roswell . Especially if you are handyman/woman there's a bunch

Although i hope it does well in Roswell i don't see too much happening on that site either. Post on as many different forums to get most viewpoints.

I'm not an expert on Roswell but most of the newer nicer areas are on the mid to northern part of the city.

Hey 6/3, yes I was going to attempt to open a shop but I found there is one there and is doing very well. I do more consultations than retail so now I am not sure how I plan to market that. We are planning a trip in March to get an idea of what all is available. Looking to possibly buy a lot with 5 acres so we can build a custom home later. We have to check out first if that is allowed in the city, some will not allow splitting your lot so right now everything is still up in the air.

Well Michele....i hope all goes well for you and your business if you start it in Roswell. I see many of the Boomers are into herbs as i myself drink tons of Green Teas..

You shouldnt have any trouble finding 5 acres or more north of Roswell for about 20 000 dollars or less with utilities. The Weather is Great in Roswell and the people are nice. el pintada kid

Thanks for the info. We are heading to Roswell on Friday to begin our search. I am hoping we can find something quick so we can get everything going. I appreciate the feedback.
