VA Healthcare System Silver City Area (retiree, health care, veterans)

Are there any retirees using the VA for healthcare in SC area?
A friend of mine has come up w/Reno or Silver City to look at for retirement "on paper" and would like to narrow concerns before he visits the two areas. Since he uses the Veterans Admin health care, I thought I would check on facilities in these areas.

Currently he goes to Minneapolis VA, which is great. He is a young, healthy retiree but still, we need to check this out...
