Not sure if High Country is open on Sunday, but I know for sure its closed on Tues. Wish I would be up there then, you could come to my place. Egglady might know about Sunday if she checks in. Best bring your lunch if you have to ..

There's only a couple of restaurants in Timberon. One is at the golf course and I do believe they are open on Sunday and closed on Tuesday.
There's another one down by the condos that serves Mexican food. Not sure what her hours are.
If I were there now, I would have you over for lunch but we won't be back until March.
Stop in Cloudcroft and get your lunch just in case.

Chilegal, check in and let us know how things are and when you all will be back.

Thanks for the info. Did not make it up there today so it will probably be Tuesday. Appreciate the offer of a meal. Maybe one of these days we can all get together up there.
Can have lunch in CC just about anytime as it's only about 6 or so miles from the house. Going to have breakfast at the western anyway.
Plan is to make the loop out toward Timberon (may not go all the way in if there is no place open) drop down over Hornbuckle hill and back to High Rolls.

Yep, that would be nice for all of us or some of us to get together for a meal sometime.
Have fun on your trip.
