They were showing Milwaukee on the Weather Channel this morning. It looked pretty nasty!!! They were showing ice & snow. Way too cold for me. I think I would have to hibernate if I lived there.

penelopelp and 6 FOOT -

Believe it or not, the Weather Channel folks were set up near the Milwaukee Art Museum near Milwaukee's lakefront / Downtown Milwaukee...guess what, I park for work about a 1/4 mile from that spot every day! So if you saw the conditions where they were, you saw where I got to park this AM!

And oh yes, I did still get to come to work today. No cancellation. Unbelievable.

I look out my window right now and snow is just blazing out of the sky at a furious white rate. It must be near blizzard-conditions. Have gotten about 10 inches thus far...and it isn't supposed to die down for hours.

Unbelievable.

Not a snowbird, a local. Yes, we heard about the weather. It is about 60 degrees right now, with a little bit of wind, which makes it feel colder. (cold to us)!!. Beautiful day though. Have a nice day
