Default Alamo schools

I was wondering about the Alamogordo schools, more specificly the middle schools. I know from great schools that Holloman is the best ranked, but I see that it is located close to the base. I am sure that it is mostly military kids, but I am sure that some of the "towns folks" kids go there. Any impressions, good or bad on the area schools?

Holloman middle school us located ON the base. As far as I know it is ONLY military kids.
The daughter goes to Mountain View Middle School. This is her second year. I and she have had no problems at all. I am impressed with the staff and the administration.
