See ya neighbor.

I'm in the Shiplet's old place, next door to Eddy (Charles) Cummings.

The house had been vacant for a number of years, so the wife and I have put a lot of work into the place, with a new roof, siding, and decks. Hope to paint as soon as the weather allows.

The interior was in great shape (although being a time capsule from the seventies with the furniture and decorations), we just added new carpet, flooring in kitchen and baths, and new appliances.

With a little sweat equity (blood, sweat, and tears) it's nice to have a house in the mountains with no mortgage over our heads.

Ken, not sure of the house, but there was a new roof go on this last winter on San Juan, that coud have been yours.
I know all about the 70's decor.. gold carpet, green fixtures and curtains with orange pom poms..LOL Couldn't wait to get rid of them.
It will be great to meet you and your wife. We will be back up the end of June.
Jane

Hi, all!
Well, it's almost time. We are leaving Galveston and the humidity on June 9th and will arrive in Timberon on June11th. We have a foundation, septic tank, and water. The walls are going up soon. We would love to meet up with you all--maybe for one of those great hamburgers at the golf course.

We will be there for a month or two. We can't wait to be on our way.

Bev/Bob

Thanks, Cheryl/Charlie. We go to the firestation to get on the web.So, when we get there we will let you know! Do you know what is in store for the July 4th holiday? We have family coming to help with the house. It would be fun to take a holiday break.

This might answer your questions. TDC Homepage Go to the minutes and read what is going on on the 5th. On the 6th is the ATV poker run. Lots of fun. Here is the site for that Sacramento Mountain ATV Timberon, NM
I will be having a booth on the 5th at Mary Glover Park. Stop by and see me.

Thanks for the help. Sounds like fun doings. I also noticed that Cloudcroft has a couple of street dances and some other stuff happening in June and July. Looks like just enough fun to break up the hard work.
