Thanks Highdesert, thought ya might give me jingle but I don't blame ya for not wanting to slum it with me; I am a weird sort after all. TorC was fun...just got back to Denver after hitting the butte, LC, Hatch, Las Vegas and Socorro.

Ok dracul what is you impression of Socorro? I am a bit infatuated with the place so I might just need a reality check.

Socorro is a great little semi-college town. Alternative lifestyle types, coffee house(s), hippies, young people, a nice college, the Very Wide Array (awesome!), and lots of lush lots available around the Rio Grand. We actually first considered Socorro before moving farther southwards. We love this town and always visit on our way to TorC and LC. We endorse it without reservation.

Thanks, Dracul. That was pretty much my impression. I don't know what I'm going to do after I retire but I expect it will involve a forge, a fire and some iron. Time to get back to basics. It will also include a geophysics library and a small astronomical observatory.

Why?

If it's a legitimate new mexico business i hope it does well like any other business in this state.

That being said i believe that the poster cocoare......has promised not to post and repost constantly about their place unless someone specifically asks about it.

If i'm ever in T or C i'll check it out as i love chocolate.

We, my good wife and I are transplants from the bitterly cold state of Wisconsin. I drug her here after going into bad health, and we've made New Mexico/T or C our home, at least until we win a lottery. we have learned to adapt to our new home/surroundings well. while T or C has less than what we're accustomed to from living in a city of 150,000 people, T or C has that small hometown atmosphere, and we sort of like it. We'll support any new businesses here by patronizing them.
