Hi kansaslady!
Oh my gosh ...... we disagree on this one!!!!!!
I grew up in New York and ended up in Kansas (for 26 years) .... where there is NEVER enough snow to suit me. I don't like ice (who does?) but I want to be where it snows MORE and is cooler than Kansas.

Truck it on up here (Wyoming) - we won't notice. Many 9 month winters, that's our morning snow on a daily basis. Now, I don't know specifically where you're at, but I went to do a survey-job outside of Taos (Arroyo Grande, near to Tres Piedres)one December - the hope was to complete the project before the snowfall.
Ended up doing the job from first day to last (some 2 mos. later) in snowshoes!
yb, you can rent me and my snowblower if you provide transportation - I'll be done blowing here in a couple hours. <smile> Rocky.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous!!!!!
If I were at your house, the heck with the snowblower....I would be constructing a snowman. Is it good packing snow?
We heard that Eldorado/Santa Fe where we will be in one year, had 20+ inches with more to come!!! I would love to be standing on my property right now!!!!

WY has snowplows. The city of Albuquerque doesn't have snowplows... we just have to wait til it melts! This is a lot of snow to have to wait out!

More Snow Reports
Here are some words I received today from my pal in Albuquerque....his words not mine....I'm not this witty.
"Albuquerque reporting in.
Friday morning, a dusting of snow. Then 15 inches overnight. Just like that. On top of the ten inches from last week. Snow in my driveway is over the top of my knees. Has not stopped yet, may not until tomorrow evening. Four wheel drive crew cab diesel pickup got stuck in front of my house, helped dig him out. I'm not going out after seeing that. For days. Will live off fuzzy M&M's found under the couch.
Neighbor across the street saw me out shoveling and offered me cookies. Shoveled a cookie path from my door to their door. Keeping cookie path clear is now job one.
First time these weather weenies out here have ever seen serious snow, in town. Maybe they will be calmer now about two inch snowfalls but I doubt it."
For a look at my Colorado snow pix, see:
