This was a vote largely on party lines.

The following phrase comes to mind: "If we can label you, we can deport you or deny you entry."

If this law was in effect in the 60's, I have no doubt the powers-that-were would have been able to use it to keep the entire Beatles out of the country, due to their deep distaste for John Lennon.

Good job congresswoman Lujan-Grisham for doing her part to keep the encroaching police state in check.
