Either option (repair, remove) costs $$$. They'll do either eventually, I guess, but for now, street repairs are more important, I think.

Millennium - Kombucha

Check out this website. It talks about the flavors.
There are also articles that talk about the benefits of it.
I think it is some kind of mushroom.

Hmmmm. This looks interesting, and they apparently have it at Nature's Pantry here (the old info is outdated--it's on WSB now instead of NY).

I may have to go get a bottle and try it. I don't get the impression that it's made from mushrooms, but.....who knows??

I've heard something about mushrooms but don't think that's what it's all about.
The man that created this drink I'm talking about created it because his mom had breast cancer and he wanted to make something that she could take and possibly help cure her.
I think it's a good drink. I like the multigreen the best.

I may just have to get all 3 flavors and try them out!!

I get probiotics because I make my own yogurt, but another source is always good!

PomeranianMom is on a distinguished road
My husband and I will be moving to Alamogordo in early fall. PCSing from Offutt AFB in Omaha. Can anyone advise as to where is the best area to live? I have heard Dog canyon is lovely. We were stationed at Edwards AFB in the middle of the Mojave Desert for a few years. Is the area similar to that? How friendly are the locals to military?

Best area to live? It depends on what you want, and without knowing that, hard question to answer. Alamogordo and points south are definitely desert, but there are mountains and piney woods 20 miles east at Cloudcroft and higher elevation canyons around that have some fantastic properties.

Dog Canyon has some stunning views, yes. It's roughly 15 miles south of Alamogordo on highway 54. It's very rural, and all properties are well/septic/satellite.

I didn't look out there, so that's all I know about it. If I am not mistaken, there are problems with flooding in some parts of the area.

Chilegal will know a lot more about this than I do, since I haven't been here as long as she has. I've been here less than two years.
