I don't know very much about Lordsburg, except that it's hotter than Alamogordo in summer and rather isolated, out in the desert.

terra nova is on a distinguished road
Getting closer to my summer vacation trip. Got lots of good ideas here. Lots of places to check out, and a burrito to try. During the week I got a 1969 Mustang. So I 've got another Route 66 cruiser for my collection!

Well, I just got back from my trip. I was in Santa Rosa, Tucumcari, Deming, Silver City, and Las Cruces. I really liked Cruces. It's not on Route 66, but it was very nice. I actually came home with a tan.

Isn't Route 80 and 85 enough for ya?

Cool map here:
1926 US Highway map
It pre-dates Route 66.

I will have to check it out. I love old historical stuff. Maybe I can go there for my fall roadtrip. Take some cool black and white photos. Thanks for the info there.

I couldnt open that Map in the 20s of New Mexico Mortimer is there any way you could send it to my email i have Webtv. Im Working on solving or feel i have already Solved the Heberer Lorius case one of the Ten Greatest Unsolved Mysteries in the United States about two men and two women who Disappeared in the center of New Mexico back in 1935 and looking at that map would be interesting for me since most of the Roads were Dirt and they all came through the center of N.M. to go from the East coast to the West coast. pintada kid at webtv.net

Hey Im back between trips. Does anyone know a real estate agent who wants to make some money in Las Cruces? Thought I had a place bought but the agent kept screwing around and I lost this gorgeous place. Just looking for a good agent.
