Alegria Active Over 55 Community Bernalillo NM
I am seriously considering having a new home built in this community. Does anyone have any knowledge of having a home built by Centex in this community and can offer positives or negatives of their experiences? Thanks!!

Sorry that no one has answered you. I am sticking this reply in just to keep your question visible for a while longer.
Good luck.
(Yours is a very specific question. It may be that no one knows.)

Thank you
I've decided to go forward with moving to Alegria and will be having my house built. I will, most likely, be moving there early 2009. I can't wait!!

The only negitive I can see is if you are working in Albuquerque. The traffic on 528-550 gets pretty congested. But the plus is if you ride your bike or drive down from Alegria you can take the train on into the city.

Note that the builder of the homes there is now Pulte:
Pulte Homes agrees to buy Centex in $1.3B deal
If I were you, I'd start a thread in the Phoenix or Tucson forums asking about people's
experience with similar developments. That might give you some insight. City-Data
searches on "Centex" and "Pulte" don't come up with too much in those places, but
entering [Pulte home 55] gives you a lot nationwide.

I filled out the form using [Mortimer][555-1212][mortimer.snerd@biteme.com].
I hate those forms that try to get you to "submit" (assume the postion) to sales calls.

There are several listings on the MLS for that community. They are listed in as 200k plus in the search with the zip code of 87004.

My in-laws live in Alegria and we need to move them back to So Cal. So there is a ready built home possibly available for sale in that community. They really like it but there are circumstances that will take them back to Cal. Whaat size home are you looking for?
