I've been to the Golden Aspen Rally six times! That's when I went to Cloudcroft. I made that ride from Ruidoso to Alamogordo via Cloudcroft several times. Beautiful! I usually went up to Red River after the rally and stayed there for a few days, exploring that area. I always liked the Wild River Gorge Recreation Area west of Questa and 'The Palisades' between Cimarron and Eagle Nest.

Smile Headin' for Timberon!

Hey Songinthewind~

That is sooooooooooo cool!!!!!

Pete will be coming over on the 18th as well - to meet up with our contractor who will lay the slab for our garage. But we are still 18 months or so from being able to do the "happy dance" & kick the heat ~ smog~ dust~ traffic~ crime of Phoenix from our heels & head to our Mountains!
Hopefully - he will have a chance to meet up with some you while he is there!

Have a safe trip!

Joyce

Joyce,
How long will Pete be there? And will you be over at any time? You are only a short distance from Song, Nan and myself.

Hi Jane:

He & Steve will be pouring the slab for the garage -so it won't be too long.
But then he'll be back in a few days to actually put the garage up-which may take a week or so. At this point, I am not sure if I am going to come over or not. He is going to have Steve & his guys help him with the garage. I really want to come see my trees, the garage, meet some of you guys & get out of this HEAT!! But there really is no need for me to be there the whole time & it is soooooooooo expensive to drive anywhere - am not sure it makes sense for both of us to drive. Will have to wait & see.

If not now - hopefully later this summer as we starting bringing stuff over to store in the garage.

I'll be in touch.
Joyce

Green, just green with envy!! Glad you made it Song!!! We hope to not be far behind... but like Greenmom - we get lookey-loos but no offers... OK, OK - we've only been on the market for 4 days but I'm READY! (And I'm tired of vacuuming 3 times a day!)

Congrats on your move and the best of luck to you!!
