How do you pronounce Abiquiu? Sorry, just had to ask. And is this the place where O' Keefe lived?

Hmmm.

I have always heard it pronounced AB-i-cue.

And that is the way I say it.

By the way, Abiquiu is one of my very favorite places in all of the state. Some of the most spectacular scenery is there. I love the vistas with the red rock mountains. I go nuts with my camera whenever I am there.

And Steve-o ... yes that is where Georgia O'Keeffe lived, at Ghost Ranch. She was not a native New Mexican, but she surely LOVED the state and is one of the most precious treasures that NM can boast of. Her paintings of the area around Abiquiu are just spectacular.
