I am a seventh generation native Santa Fean having made the biggest mistake of my life moving to Texas! Currently I live in Midlothian, about 25 miles south of Dallas, and have been unable to find any Bueno products especially posole. Any suggestions? Is there a chain that sells it? I'll take fresh or dry I am so desperate.
Thanks!

frasn501 ~
I am not in the DFW area, but I visit my daughter down there several times a year. I think I have seen Bueno Products at Central Market, but it may have been some time ago. Maybe you could call them and see if they have it.

The HEB Central Markets in the Houston area carry Bueno frozen red and green chile. I would be surprised if they are not carried in the DFW area.

As others have mentioned, I imagine that HEB carries the Bueno frozen red/green chile....and also Walmart!! Midland's Walmart carried them, so I bet the DWF area WMs do also.

Desserts
Sure am glad I found this thread, its going to expand my list of "good stuffs" to cook by a huge amount. I was hoping though that someone could post a couple recipes for me.
I'm looking for an easy to fix, but (of course) yummy Tres Leches cake recipe. Its been a really long time since I've had a good Tres Leches so I'm a bit overdue.
In addition, i'm looking for a good Flan recipe, preferrably a cheese flan, with hints on how to make the caramel sauce come out right. I've always had trouble getting it to brown up properly while maintaining the right consistency. Last time I tried, I ended up with hard candy in the bottom of my cups! (too hot obviously) It was still yummy, but thats not how it should be.
Thanks in advance for any help my tummy gets!
