Corona New Mexico
I got into this deal because this stupid computer said there were postings about Corona New Mexico, and, of course, there aren't any. Any one ever heard of Corona, N.M.? I taught school there in 1990-91.
Nice town. Great students. Good Parents. fine teachers. The superintendent at that time ( Not the same as the one now ) was the worst, most ignorant educator I have known in my 40 year career in the schools in New Mexico.
I heard they had a party when they finally ran him out of town, although why it took them two years to do it was beyond me.

Have you posted this in the NM forum? It is a very active forum and I'm sure you would be able to find someone there that has experience in Corona.

I know a former state police that lived there posted here a while back. I do travel through there about 4-6 times a year, nice little town. And now have friends that live on a ranch NE of town. Did you do a search on the forum?
Someone will chine in here I am sure.

city-data corona new mexico - Google Search
I found a few with that search but they are pretty lean. It's not really a very big place and it wouldn't be surprising that there aren't that many posts about it. Lovely, I suspect new comers would take a while to fit in. I always think of deer and antelope because I've never see more than in my travels trough the area to Roswell and Santa Fe. Beautiful country.
Had to appraise the Corona Compression Station on the EPNG gas pipeline once. The foreman took me right to where the Roswell UFO incident happened. It was closer to their station and to town. Got to see the "pig" clean out the pipeline while I was there, which is fairly rare. It was neat 37 miles of dirt road to get there. (the compressor station not the town)

Corona N.M.
I go to Corona all the time in fact Corona might have a Small Pinon crop this year i was hoping Ancho would have a Pinon Crop. Does anyone know if Ancho has a Pinon Crop it should be Starting right now?????? They have a Store and Convenience store and a couple of Restaurants a Mexican family owns one of them and they make Great Red Beef Enchiladas with one egg over Medium. TIP dont order a Cheeseburger with fries and eat it out in the Mountains the Bears love those Cheeseburgers at the Restaurant next to the Post office. Theres also a wrecker and mechanic and a motel and Huey does Great Welding and building Stock Trailers in Corona. Corona is also the Place where i almost got eaten by a 300 lb Bear a couple of years ago. So if you are in the Area a couple of Miles North of Corona watch out for that bear. What gets me is that you lived in Corona for a few years and dont know anything about it??? pintada kid at webtv.net

Depending on how long ago that was, good odds that the guy that took you around was my first cousin--last name Tubbs.
His son, my second cousin also had a ranch outside of Corona and his wife taught at the school. Nice town.
I used to live outside Roswell and also Carrizozo, for a little while.

I guess I'll put another town on the "should visit" list. I'll try a google street view. NM is fairly well covered.
Just did a street view. Street view covers most of the streets in town. Looks like a well kept quiet little town.
