Snoglydox informed:

> ... cockatiel ... she has regurgitated for me a couple times (disgusting, but a major show of love.)

Being a major fan of alt.tasteless, I want to know more about this.

Birds regurgitate food to feed the chicks.

No, not that. I want to know about regurgitating to show love to humans.
That bit.

Don't much care for regurgitation...a bit tangential to my presumed line of evolutionary descent...but diff'rent strokes and all that...puke!

LOVE cats though! Currently cohabiting (no one ever "owns" a cat after all) with two huge and utterly distinctive long haired white feline gents!!! Fazoo and TwopointOH. Excellent companions both! 'Course I fancy lots and loads of other critters as well...the Noah of my clan

No, I wouldn't dream of using a cat for rescue; they aren't service animals. I appreciate them because of their other qualities. But the pet forum is where a debate about them belongs.

My aunt had a mynah bird that was sharp as a tack! I like all animals that aren't trying to get a piece of me. But especially felines.

BTW, I watched that video. Amazing! My little brothers have pontentialities that I wasn't aware of.
My apologies: I did not find your words attacking. That is what the “Jack Black” statement was for; I was trying to explain to you that I was trying to be facieses about the other person's comment.

About regurgitating…many animals regurgitate to feed their young and mate, and to store food for the future (honey is regurgitated bee-food.)

Google “ruminant” or "regurgitate"

On that note, I read on “animalplanetasia,” that frogs are animals that "suffer from digestive complications, and when they need to regurgitate what they've consumed, they find themselves in dire straits. Frogs can't vomit, and whenever they need to, they end up vomiting their entire stomach."

I often wonder about humans having the abilities/habits that other animals have; in this case, the dinner table would have a whole new…something.

Blue tail lizards
other lizards

Now Eldorado has cats, an occassional coyote to prey on the cats (thank God for coyotes) and Californians who bring cats.
What a loss of all the great wildlife.
Sorry to hear of Wildlife loss, i wonder if environmental changes, like pesticide use, and other pollution have also effected Wildlife. By the way the blue tail lizards , maybe are called Skinks . I would like to know where there is more Wildlife and less cats in New Mexcio, my wife and i are planning a move there. We now live in rural No Central Arkansas for 4yrs now and share our place with many kinds of wildlife, its a huge pleasure . I only shoot near the coyotes and hawks when they try and eat our Hens that give us fresh eggs, it works well. One chicken we call ,"Lucky", was attacked by a Large adult Hawk and i came across it while going on and chased the Hawk away and my wife and i nursed the Chicken back to health in our house, took several months, and when it was stong enough , we sent it back to range and nest with the rest- whatever does't kill yahs make you stonger !
