Proposition 200 Illegally Passed
In 2004 Arizona illegally passed Proposition 200 to keep Mexicans from collecting benefits and voting. What they found out without a doubt was that Mexicans dont care to Vote or Collect Benefits for fear of being found and being jailed and seperated from their families and losing their Slave Labor Jobs. IF they do use our Medical Clinics we should be Glad since they Plant and Raise and Harvest and Cook and Serve our Food and take care of our Homes and Kids. el pintada kid

and why should illegals be able to vote? I loved much of what NM represents but one thing about AR: in order to vote we have to sign an paper stating we are who we say we are and to get a drivers lisence we have to show our birth certificate or passport...It is nice to know AR is watching out for Americans.

Hmmmmmm, if they are free to go back to Mexico, they aren't slaves, right? If they break laws to engage in their voluntary servitude, that makes them criminals, not slaves.

Ummmm.......you left out one word: ILLEGAL. They passed whatever the proposition was to keep ILLEGAL aliens from collecting benefits that WE the US taxpayer pay for.
I do believe that you had best get your facts straight.

Just a question,
Why on God's green Earth would you let a foreign national determine the political fate of our country?
If I go to Mexico on vacation, can I vote in their elections?
Does this mean that Americans can simply travel to Venezuela in mass and vote Chavez out of office?

Heck try to go to Mexico illegally and see what happens to you or try to buy land in Mexico, including the land itself, not the structure... I guess some don't see it this way, illegals can come to our country and demand rights, but let us try the same in their country??? I think not..

Whoa! *2004* ?! Hold a grudge looong?
So! Get together with the people in AZ, and write a new Propostion and get the State Reps., congressmen, etc to present it for a New vote, promote it and get it passed!!!
That's, how it's done in the USA
Did ya post this over in the AZ forum to gather your voters?

Um.
do you mean Mexican-Americans? Who have their US citizenship?
Otherwise, like someone else said, why would we want to allow foreign nationals to vote in our elections? Or collect the benefits US taxpayers fund?

They artificially keep the price of labor down in this country. That has hurt of a lot of american trade laborers. They have their kids on our dime for the tune of $3k to $15K a piece and they have more than the average 2.1kids. They drive on our roads built with our tax dollars(most without insurance). Their kids go to our schools(again $3k-$5k a piece per year). The latest generation just expect us to welcome them with government docs in spanish, special english language learning course for their kids(another $5k per child). Don't get me started on the illegal population vs. crime statistics. The extra costs we have to spend on law enforcement(local and border partol). It seems like every other week there is a crash with a vehicle loaded with 20 illegals. They hurt innocent bystanders. Not to mention each accident costs the taxpayer 100's of thousands of dollars per occurrence. Definitely a plus for our country???? And now, they should vote? What do they know about the issues except that they know they need to steal SS#'s to get a legitimate job and draw welfare and SS, which many do and get as much from the system as possible? Do they know or care what this country is about? NO! Some of the money(over $20 billion) they do make leaves this country tax free back to mexico and does not recirculate in the US economy. It is leeched from the US.
