Hi-
Hi-
I was able to enjoy the wonder that is Burger Builders in Hobbs last Saturday night with 2 friends from Dallas. I'd been in the past to Roswell, Carlsbad, Carlsbad Caverns, Santa Fe & Albuqerque & Clovis to name a few, but never to Hobbs.

We were driving from The West of the Pecos Museum (Est. 1963) in Pecos, TX to Lubbock to see a friend of mine & reminisce about my undergraduate days at good ol' Texas Tech.

Hobbs is my favorite town in "Lower" New Mexico, which I prefer over Clovis, Roswell or Carlsbad in b/c Hobbs has Burger Builders & what I find to be a classic Old West/West Texas-type look and feel.

A friend from Texas Tech told me about Burger Builders back in 2004 & I'd been actively seeking a burger combo from there since then.

My friends' & I, our trip was 1,100 miles in 2 days in a Toyota Tacoma singlecab for only $107.80 worth of gas!

Thanks,

fallguy

Fallguy,
So glad you enjoyed your trip and burger. Next time try to spend a little more time in New Mexico.

He was in Hobbs Texas! I guess what I am trying to say that he really didn't enter New Mexico, other than crossing a boundary. Anyone who has been in Hobbs knows what I am talking about.

Thank you to all respondents.

Thanks Chilegal.
I hope to see White Sands Nat'l Monument-Alamogordo one day
(I have been to neither.)

Yes, Hobbs & Clovis are much like Texas, and, while I've only been to El Paso Airport on the way to Vegas, what I understand about El Paso is that it's much like New Mexico.

Later y'all,
fallguy
