Yeah they are. The 750 needs a new chain and air filter and she is ready to roll again. Been up in the Denver area on them too. I go up there a couple of times a year, in the car too to catch some games.

wHEN HERE CHECK OUT fASTER mOTORSPORTS. The guyz there are as good as they come, financed by British and domestic racing enthusiasts, most of the mechanics are racers as well! Had Nic install an IDC dual intake manifold and plum it for my 100 shot dual cannister NOS; it cracks ~160 foot pounds of torque on the dyno as a result! These guys know bikes. Another buddy, Steve Cortez, is a master of custom modifications. Glad to introduce you to these wiz-kidz!

I do all my own work on the bikes, partly out of nececity (sp) and party because I just love to do it.
I am going to leave the 750 stock as she is I think. The 454 (id like another one to mod) I am most likely going to lower the back end and take off the sissy bars and rear seat. Saw a nice spring seat that fits her real good. Gotta spray the tank matt black too and do an air box mod also. id like to stick some straight pipes on her too.

Straight pipes on the 454 will sound good, at least to other gearheads, but they'll be a mite loud if you don't quiet them down somehow. You're making a mini-bobjob out of it?
I like classic rides too. I have a 1984 Honda V65 Sabre. It's a rarely seen bike, since it was only made for two years.

Yeah basically a bob. I am am meber of a forum and some of the guys bobbers make me drool.
The 454's are relatively cheap to come by.
This guys is nice, though I would not put ape hangers on it.

I thought since he did this he put different bars on it, just straight ones but I cant find pics.

Very cool pix. I don't like ape's either, I think they are totally moronic and reduce rider control. Gimme straight drag bars any day over ape hangers. Nice mini bobber though. I like bobbed rear ends. I like to do most of my own work too, time and circumstances permitting. I do custom artwork for bikes and, hopefully after this hand heals, custom accessories. Got lots of ideas on paper, now I need my mitt back so I can do some sculpted prototypes. Looking forward to meeting you folks in the real world on the open road!!!

'Apehangers' are just impractical IMO. Different strokes for different folks and all that, but it shouldn't be that hard to be 'cool'. My bike has low bars on it, but a V65 Sabre would really look stupid with high handlebars! The 454 in the photo looks good except for the bars.
Good luck with your hand, dracul.
