Default Pintada Kid Dog Tips

Over the Years i have taken in all kinds of dogs to keep them from dying or off the Street and i had inside dogs, Poodles and Chihuahuas and other smaller dogs. I resolved that an inside dog is like a Child and you spend lots of time looking after it and if you have the time to take care of them and let them out and bathe them everyday this is the type of dog for you. Some dogs dont like to be left alone and chew up the furniture or pee everywhere. My Chihuahua when i would **** him off would go and lift his leg on my Guitar Amp and it wasnt too cool doing a gig with Chihuahua pee stains all over. Willard my Chihuahua has been gone for about 15 years now he was about 17 and in a Coma and i had to Shoot him it wasnt easy. I still wake up at two on the Dot to let Willard out. My Wolf Dog Lobo he weighs over 100 lbs and doesnt know what its like to have anything around his neck. >> Hes a Great Watchdog but one wag of his tail and my priceless objects would be History and not to imagine a cup full of pee if i didnt let him out in time. My Wolf dog sleeps out in the Open even when its snowing and cold outside. My Blue Heeler female who is about 15 years old has her warm little heavy Plastic dog house buried in dirt to keep her warm and it has a flap on it to keep out the wind. My little Jack Russell is one of the most Hyper dogs ive ever seen running on 3 legs for about 2 weeks now he runs faster with 3 also then my blue heeler who runs fast also. That little Jack Russell is one heck of a Guard dog and has super hearing and thinks he can fly. All my dogs have a fence and run free and plenty of fresh water and food and i even cook for them. They have extra Heavy plastic Dog houses that i make for them covered in Dirt to keep them warm when the temps get to 20 below here in the center of New Mexico. P.S.,,,,,, even a Chihuahua or a Cat if they spend some time outside need to be checked for fleas and constant bathes unless you dont mind getting fleas and other small insects of you or brought into your house. el pintada kid

LOL!!!

I hate Chihuahuas , and would never live with one...but I can't believe that you tolerated his peeing on your amp. I'm surprised it didn't corrode everything!!! Or did it?

Default Towanda

I guess people that dont have dirt outside their home and concrete and if they dont leave their dog out in the yard too long can get by with a bath now and then. But people who have lots of Shrubbery and grass and Dirt and Trees and Birds everywhere and other dogs and lots of Vegetation it doesnt take long for them to carry in little spiders and fleas and other insects into the house. I know my little Jack Russell im constantly yanking off big fleas off his ears in the summer but he is super active and no way he would want to be an inside dog since i bet he runs about 5 miles or more a day or rather flies all over my huge yard. He was sporting an icicle beard a couple of days ago and loves the snow. >>>>> I have a 6 foot metal fence and he already climbed and jumped over just once and almost broke his neck chasing after a dog. I just went to the Gate and waited and in a little while he comes running with about 3 big dogs after him and that was the last time he tried jumping over the fence. Jack Russells are super active and have Very Good Hearing and very intelligent and lovable. They want constant petting and make great Watchdogs and can they jump high. el pintada kid

I don't care for chihuahuas either. My uncle had one and the dog peed and barked all the time.
Anyway, my dogs don't have baths everyday.
To keep the fleas and bugs away, give your pets some brewers yeast. It takes a couple of months to kick in but it helps keep the fleas away. Peppermint soap from Dr. Bronner is good to bathe your pet in also.
A pet that pees everywhere is distressed and needs to be walked and exercised daily.
Do some of you want to post pics of your dogs/cats? Mine are in my profile picture.

Default Jaada

Yes over the last 30 or 40 years ive had all kinds of outside dogs. I dont see a bit of difference between a Pedigree dog and a Mutt they all love you and will guard you and be your friend all you have to do is give them water and food and shelter and help them when they get hurt and a hug and a pat on the head now and then and theyll love you for it. My Wolf dog that i got from the 4 corners area is a big dog but he is a very good watch dog and he doesnt trust anybody. If he thinks im up to something like put flea powder on him he stays away and he can move fast but hes a very Gentle dog and i can make him howl when hes in the mood. To put up with my little Jack Russell he has to have lots of patience getting your faced licked and food stolen from out of your mouth and getting Jumped on from all Directions when my wolf dog is trying to sleep. Those little Jack Russells are minature Dennis the Menace Dogs. el pintada kid
