Pintada Kid and The Bible (Los Alamos, Alamo: schools, to live, dangerous)

Many years ago i met a little old lady that had a Sticker on her Car that Said on it..... WISE MEN SEEK HIM i asked her about the Sticker and she said that she did lots of praying and read the Bible. She also told me if you want to read the Bible like i do keep it in your Bathroom and read it. I read about 30 percent of the way through and stopped but i need to go back and start reading it again but as we grow older we all need guidance and reminders about God and his Son Jesus especially at Christmas time. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND A SAFE HOLIDAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. KID TIP .... The Bible is the Instruction book on getting to Heaven and dont Forget to Pray and Help others including Gods Creatures. el pintada kid

I understand your desire to read the Bible, but you could save yourself a lot of time by looking up the Golden Rule and abiding by it.

Pintada Kid -- Faith can come to us no matter what age and circumstances we are in.

I struck up a conversation with an elderly Hispanic lady in the grocery store the other day, and somehow the talk got around to faith. She told me one of her four sons died in a car wreck 12 years ago, and a year later her youngest son was electrocuted in an accident at Los Alamos labs. He survived but he is in a nursing home, completely paralyzed, can't talk, gets food through a feeding tube. She goes to see him three times a week and she believes he will walk some day, because God will heal him...maybe not in this life but in the next. She said without her faith she could not continue to live.

To have so much simple pure faith in the face of life's biggest tragedies is inspiring to me.

When we ended our conversation, she must have told me "God Bless You" about five times.

I aspire to be that kind of person.

I took about 4 years of Catholic School and i would say that ive spent most of my life praying since then and helping others not just here in these Groups but in real life. Ive saved close to a Dozen lives in my lifetime risking my own and helping the poor or the Children or the Old People and Animals has always been one of my Main Interest in life. I Tried going to Church every Sunday for about a Year but gave that up and decided to pray whenever i want during the Day or anytime and just think of ways to improve other peoples lives whether through Advice or by Volunteering in some way. >>>> Most of the Gigs ive done in my area have been Fundraisers for the Schools or Senior Citizen or to help raise money for a Cause. I dont do too many Christians songs but i love the Music. Just a Closer Walk With Thee and Were You There are a couple of my Favorites that i play on my guitar. But i do about a dozen others some in Spanish like One Day At a Time. el pintada kid

Geez, sometimes I wish I could have that kind of faith or at least half of it but I don't.
I believe in a Higher Being and I pray but I stay far far away from church. Those people are dangerous and seem to get a kick telling me I'm going to hell.

Some of them maybe Song, but not all of them.

I have known some really wonderful church people who are filled with love and grace and who take care of their neighbors and the less fortunate and who try to lead a holy life.

I am a Christian. I don't think I ever told anyone they were going to hell; and certainly would not have gotten a kick out of it.

Each Church and each Congregation is Different we must go to Different ones to see where we feel better. But there are some people like me that dont feel right around others so we have to find other ways to Worship the Lord. I learned to pray the... Our Father and the Hail Mary .. and the Oh My God and the I believe in God prayers and made my first Holy Communion in the First Grade from Catholic School and these prayers are ingrained in my Brain for Life and i self Consciencely find myself praying at all times of the day. I learned all these prayers and learned to Speak English in a years time. The Sisters were great Teachers but Strict and didnt hesitate to use the ruler. Sometimes i fall Asleep Praying and wake up Praying. >>> I do Notice that some Church people are more Cold but not all can be blamed for this. WE must also share some blame for the Hate and Hostility because we know deep in our Hearts who is to blame. ... What i loved about Church was the Singing if someone was singing low i would switch to high or vice versa and would create my own Choir whichever part of the Church I sat. That is what i will miss about going to Church and over the years ive turned some boring church music to what i think are great Sounds Pintada Kid Style. p.s. maybe someday ill record on CD Christian Church music a Jitterbug, Rockabilly style. el pintada kid
