Default Here it comes! Snow and new baby! LOL

Hafta tease ya about the baby part....BUT serious weather has arrived here and There. Looked like snow maybe as far south as Socorro on the weather maps to me, rain/mix below there? How is it round Alamo today?
Our temps dropped nearly 20° in 10 minutes and rain to ice coming in about 5 hours here, then snow and low temps tomorrow, only around 12° for a high. It's WINDY! Then Snow on Tuesday and Thursday.
I'm a bit worried about the ice coming tonite, and losing power. Moved some firewood into the garage and made sure the wood pile is covered well outside. We won't see even 30° for a high most of the week, so what falls, will stay
Took the frozen left-over turkey out of the freezer even, for homemade noodle soup in the big crockpot, LOL Shoot might hafta heat it up by the fireplace during the week

I'm heading out tho, got about 5 hours before it get bad. Bit more shopping and then to the Barn....We have a New Baby! A baby colt! He's 12 months today. Arrived last night. A Christmas gift for one of my friends, and get this, he's a Curly!!!!!! WoooHoooo {and that's hypo-allergenic taboot!} Haven't seen one in years. I've got to be back before this 'stuff' hits. Country roads ta drive and all to and back. I've got my emergency box in my truck set to go too. Even cat-litter for possible needed traction LMBO
Otherwise all buttoned down, I think

Just wondered how ya'll are doin' there and if is Snowing anywhere there yet? {Summit Co. Colorado got Feet of snow and horrible driving over night they said}

MAYBE, this is finally the year of a snowy winter for NM, the land sure could use it and the snow 'bunnies' will be in heaven!

Pictures guys! Get those cameras ready
I can't wait {well for YOUR snow, mine with the ice- ick!}

Have a Great Day,

Tia Dalma- goin' ta see the new Baby!

I wish we had a little here in ARK, we are supposed to get a mixture tomorrow: sure we will??? I have the feeling the weather people take off about 9 months of the year. Enjoy and drive carefully, all of you.

No snow here but it looks like it's going to. Gloomy windy day and a bit cold.
Our power was out for several hours but it's back on now.

We got a little bit here in Farmberg. It's almost all melted at 1:00pm off of the streets and sidewalks.

Got about half an inch in SF and it was gone by noon. I guess it's supposed to do this on and off all week. Long term forcast is for a dry winter, though.

Hmmm. Out here in Eldorado we had several inches and most of it is still on the ground.

For what it is worth - Our power went out 10 pm last Thursday and does not seem to be returning very soon. We had a really bad ice storm (1/2 to 1 in thick in places) and it devastated the forest and the electrical distribution grid. The utility company figured 500 or the 750 thousand customers lost service early Saturday morning. Saturday and Sunday the temperature dropped into the teens with 20+ mph north wind. Today is already in the low 40's with another storm expected mid week.

The town got around to opening the high school gym as a shelter even though they forgot to override the timers on the water heaters. Some parts of Londonderry, New Hampshire never lost power and some are still, like my condo, disconnected.
